Chris is a life-long Terre Haute resident and community servant who hopes to work with legislators of both parties to bring District 38’s interests back into the discussion in Indianapolis.
In addition to protecting vulnerable Hoosiers in his law practice, Gambill has decades of experience in law enforcement, as legal advisor to the Terre Haute Police Department, as a Drug Forfeiture Attorney, and as a Special Trial Deputy for the Clay County Prosecutor. Gambill has also served as the Attorney for Clay City since 1984.
Away from his practice, Gambill serves as an elder for his church, is involved with 4-H, has served as President of the Downtown Terre Haute Farmer’s Market and was an original board member of CHANCES for Youth. He has also enjoyed over 20 years as a youth sports coach in the community.
Chris and his wife of 40 years, Bionca, have three children, Noah, Naaman, and Kit, and two lovely grandchildren, Miah and Wiley.
